Hypebae Beauty Awards [2023]

For the second year of the Hypebae Beauty Awards, the ask was for the logo to feel celebratory, contemporary, and feminine and the logo would be placed on the website article along with the Hypebae Beauty Awards seal from last year. The logo would also have to be applied on socials for further engagement.

I incorporated custom script lettering paired with a serif typeface for a contemporary, yet elegant feel. For the web experience to feel extra special, we decided to have two seperate logos: one for the loading page that would have more ‘frills’ and a more general logo that would be used across all assets. The loading page logo incorporates a high-contrast ornamental frame inspired by calligraphic 1950s vintage frames.
