They wanted a scrappy booky, nostalgic feel to the experience similar to the beauty and fashion web games that were extremely popular back in the early 2000’s such as Girlsgogames.com, yet still upholding elegance and and simplicity. Ultimately, they wanted a fun and engaging way to interact with the winning beauty products.
Designed and art directed in tandem with another design team member, Yenna Chang, we both came up with a design language and type system. As for the logo, I took creative lead and came up with a custom script typeface. We decided to have two seperate logos: one for the loading page animation and a simplified version that was used across all assets.
